Awareness Campaign reduces duration of untreated psychosis (DUP) in the New Haven Area.

The Opportunity
Many young people experiencing early psychosis face delays in receiving treatment due to limited awareness and unclear referral pathways. Yale’s STEP Learning Collaborative sought to expand the successful Mindmap program statewide to help Connecticut residents recognize symptoms earlier and connect to care faster.
The Campaign
Mindmap 2.0 is a statewide awareness and referral initiative focused on improving the early detection of first-episode psychosis. The campaign combines education, outreach, and streamlined access to specialized care.

Our Approach
Red Rock partnered with Yale to create a clear, accessible public awareness campaign. Through strategic messaging, design, digital experiences, and outreach materials, we helped make early psychosis easier to understand and act upon.
