APT Foundation lowers barriers to substance use treatment while promoting the urgency of scaling up evidence-based solutions. It’s one of the first treatment centers in the country to use medication for the treatment of opioid disorder, founded by Yale School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry.

A Helpful Tool

The old website focused on outlining APT’s services. The new website includes resource pages for individuals, family, and friends, answering all of the most frequently asked questions. In addition, we added a dedicated page for the research that informs APT’s approach to care.

Copywriting

It was important that we have a specific brand voice on the website, using language that is not only recognized by the medical field but also by the local community. This was carried into the Spanish-translated version of the site as well.

Podcast

We’ve been telling the Foundation’s story in ways that are compelling and public-facing yet informed by sophisticated research. This includes a new podcast called Open Access, Open Mic and a set of virtual community forums on topics like motherhood, social determinants of substance use, and chronic pain.
